Sunday 11 March is the Global Day of Prayer for Burma.
Organised by
Christians Concerned for Burma and
Free Burma
Rangers, people around the world join together in praying for peace and
human rights in Burma.
In previous years Karen people in Bendigo and Melbourne, Australia,
have organised interfaith prayer services where Christians and
Buddhists, Australians, Karen, Karenni, Chin and Burmese have come and
prayed together.
We believe that people of different religions and ethnic groups
praying together is one small step towards peace in Burma.
In 2012 we would encourage your church or community group to become
involved in the day of prayer for Burma.
